Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Administrative Assistant you will use impeccable customer service skills to assist leadership as they provide oversight of the day to day functions in the unit. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

  • You will manage the Directors' and Manager's offices to include maintaining filing systems and performing a wide variety of clerical/secretarial duties.
  • You will coordinate appointment calendars for the Director and Manager.
  • You will assist the Director with researching and resolving patient questions regarding accuracy billing concerns.
  • You will oversee proper medical and office supply ordering by each department designee.
  • You will ensure updated forms/orders are available to each unit.
  • You will work with hospital materials management department to ensure proper supply processing.
  • You will maintain and sustains professional ethics and promotes patient's bill of rights.
  • You will organize and complete work in a timely and professional manner

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Knowledge of Medical terminology preferred.
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification (available after hire).
