Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on managing financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and company policies
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist in payroll management tasks
- Utilize accounting software such as Quicken and Ceridian for financial operations

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Prior experience in public accounting or a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Familiarity with payroll management procedures
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
- Understanding of GAAP principles
