Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Art Therapist to join our team in a flexible remote, work-from-home role. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with options for 1099 and W2 contracts. You'll have the chance to manage your caseload with flexibility, with a minimum of 10 hours per week.
We encourage availability during after-school hours, evenings, and weekends to meet the needs of our clients. In addition to direct therapy hours, you will also receive paid time for administrative tasks based on your caseload size.
For those in W2 positions, we offer 401k benefits, 9 paid bank holidays, and an annual $500 Continuing Education stipend. This role provides the opportunity for case consultation, team support, and professional development.
As part of the team, you'll be helping children from diverse backgrounds and focusing primarily on pediatric clients, with some opportunities to work with adults.
The starting rate for this role is $57 per hour, with the flexibility and support you need to thrive in a teletherapy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide teletherapy services, delivering art therapy sessions remotely.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate clients' needs and progress.
Develop and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to individual treatment goals.
Utilize art therapy techniques suited to the age, condition, and needs of each client or group.
Design and deliver art therapy programs for diverse client populations.
Maintain detailed records on client progress, therapies, and care plans.
Communicate progress and updates with clients' families, educators, and healthcare providers as needed.
Ensure all practices are in line with state and federal therapy regulations.
Maintain required state and national licenses to practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Art Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Required: Valid LPC or LPCC license and Art Therapist (ATR) or Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) credential from the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB).
State-specific license, if applicable.
Preferred: 1 year of experience in teletherapy, with a focus on working with children as an Art Therapist.
Strong understanding of various disorders, their causes, and effective treatments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfort using teletherapy platforms (Zoom, PowerPoint) and healthcare databases.
