ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION VACANCY Assistant Professor of Psychology Job Title: Assistant Professor of Psychology

JobDuties: Full-time. Tenure-Track position.Teach core and elective undergraduate psychology courses including, but not limited to, Human Growth and Development, Child Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, and APAStyle of Writing for Psychology Minors. Teach courses in other areas ofspecialization within the psychology discipline as needed.The standard teaching load is 12 credit hoursper semester. Courses will be taught via a combination of in-person, hybrid,and distance delivery modalities.Whileteaching will be the primary responsibility, advising, service to theuniversity, profession, community, and scholarship in the discipline areexpected.
POSITIONREQUIREMENTS: Primary Education andExperience Requirements: Ph.D. in Psychology or related field (ABD may be considered); and 9 months (equiv. to 1 academic yr. or 2academic semesters) as anAssistant Professor of Psychology; College-level Psychology Teacher orInstructor; or experience teaching undergraduate or graduate-level psychologycourses.
Other Special Skills or Requirements:The position also requires 1 year (2 academic semesters) experience with basicclassroom technology (such as management systems, video conferencing software,and/or Microsoft Office Programs); 1 year (2 academic semesters) teachingcollege-level developmental (i.e. childhood or adolescent), educational, orschool psychology courses; as well as at least 1-semester of experienceadvising or mentoring students, and/or supervising undergraduate research. Maywork remotely from home, but must live within commuting distance of campus.
