Job Purpose: As HIV Specialist/Health Educator at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to effectively provide the necessary education, counseling and treatment to clients in HRS District VII.

Job Functions

  • Providing confidential assessment of clients in treatment programs.
  • Conducting and documenting client's record HIV pre-test counseling on all at risk clients and providing voluntary HIV antibody testing with the written informed consent of the clients accepting testing.
  • Providing post-test counseling to all clients accepting testing, documenting all required records of client consenting to treatments.
  • Effectively presenting HIV education that the client's relate to, maintaining double-locked conditions while recording all confidential client results,
  • Meeting ancillary needs of HIV/AIDS clients by referring them to applicable agencies.
  • Conducting HIV staff education programs and collecting and submitting statistical data and narrative reports when required.
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Position qualifications: Ability to receive and maintain a(n)

  • Level II Background clearance
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company as described in the AHP Corporate Transportation Policy 3.9.1
  • High School Diploma required
