Logistics Coordinator

Zentis is Europe's number one fruit processing company and one of the leading brand manufacturers of jams, sweets and custard-based dessert. The Company's North American operations are located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Plymouth, Indiana, where we produce fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers.

Shipping order management: Able to decipher information from customer service, assign totes to loads & prepare shipping documentation/packet. Scheduling inbound/outbound shipments and corresponding with transportation partners. KPI reporting and cost tracking/analysis both internally and externally.

• Primary Responsibilities:
  • Shipping order management: 
    • Preparation of shipping documents/packet, assigning totes and monitoring communication from customer service on load changes, low pressure totes, loads shortages & potential pre-micro shipping etc.  
  • Understands that loads must be submitted through E2OPEN and accepted/tendered by the carrier before totes can be assigned and picked & processed for the load.
  • KPI reporting: 
    • Keeps DMS report up to date including late shipments and loads shipped short. Keeps all shipping/load communication for warehouse stockers up to date including, shipping packets, emails, order board with list of daily loads and covers with shift leads when possible. Keeps outbound log up to date for warehouse stocker to review when prepping loads and for CS to ensure tote issues can be seen and addressed by CS and QA in a timely manner.   
  • Providing administrative support to the Warehouse Team. Able to update SOP’s, forms, charts etc. Supporting the warehouse to achieve on-time delivery and cost control targets.
  • Ability to do special shipments for import/export, machine shipments, empty totes & ensure compliance & accuracy of documentation. Communicates with LTLs on these shipments to ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Verifies outbound loads as time permits. Keeps all shipping documentation filed, organized, and accessible.  

• Formal Education Required:

• High School Diploma or GED required.  

• Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:

• Knows how to submit loads for tendering, make BOL’s, inspection of outbound loads, document writing (SOP’s, forms etc.). 
• Able to communicate with customer service, warehouse stockers, carriers as well as divers.  
• Food industry experience supporting a food manufacturing facility is a plus. 
• ERP/MRP software experience
• SAP, E2OPEN, TMS experience preferred. 
• MS Office products experience. 
• Import/Export experience preferred.

• Special Skills and Abilities Required:

• Candidate must be able to use a computer, including Microsoft word, excel and able to learn SAP, TMS, E2OPEN etc. 
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
