Summary Position: PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER (Starting as an Assistant Teacher with the opportunity to grow into the Lead Teacher role) Objective: Join our vibrant and faith-centered team to provide loving care, supervision, and engaging learning activities for infants and preschool-aged children in a Christ-centered environment.

Duties Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the day-to-day running of the classroom, with the opportunity to step into a Lead Teacher role as you grow.
- Provide a rich and varied program of play and learning opportunities that stimulate young minds.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, demonstrating Christ?s love in all interactions.
- Plan, implement, and schedule developmentally-appropriate activities that encourage spiritual, emotional, and intellectual growth.
Main Duties and Tasks: - Partner with parents in their role as primary educators of their children, supporting them in their God-given responsibility.
- Lead daily prayer and devotions that are appropriate for the children?s age and development, integrating Biblical principles into every aspect of the curriculum.
- Foster children?s development through active engagement and meaningful interaction in their play and learning activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
- Lead curriculum planning and involve the Teacher Assistant in this process to ensure seamless teamwork.
- Encourage positive behavior and maintain discipline in a way that promotes a healthy and constructive learning environment.
- Actively participate in professional development, staying current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Build strong relationships with parents, encouraging their involvement and participation in the preschool.
- Be flexible and adaptable, ready to assist with other tasks and support your colleagues as needed.

- Be a committed follower of Jesus Christ, living under His Lordship in all aspects of life.
- Possess spiritual maturity, with the ability to integrate Biblical truths into daily learning and activities.
- Have a heart for Christian education and the mission of Master?s Garden Preschool (MGP), actively advancing our mission through your work.
- Model respectful and caring behavior toward children, families, and co-workers, creating a positive and supportive environment.
- Work effectively within a team, demonstrating a solution-oriented, transparent, and collaborative attitude.
- Understand early childhood development principles and maintain a safe, sanitary classroom environment.
- Communicate with love and patience, using excellent interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience: - High School diploma or equivalent required.
Nice To Haves - Early childhood credentials or actively seeking them.
- CPR/First Aid training.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
