Job Description

Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a PCB Designer to create optimized design layouts for printed circuit boards (PCBs) that conform to desired specifications. All levels of experience will be considered from entry-level to senior-level.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design printed circuit board layouts and routings of components for X-ES products
  • Work with project managers, mechanical engineers, and power supply engineers to determine requirements for PCB projects
  • Create manufacturing support documents
  • Output of fabrication and manufacturing data
  • Initiate PCB final data releases

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate)
  • Computer proficiency with a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and complete work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or similar field
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus
  • Experience with XPedition Layout software
