Whether you are working in a CPA firm or in industry - if you have an interest in utilizing your experience to work on more exciting projects along with a mix of clients, then our Outsource Accounting Services (OAS) team is right for you! This is a unique opportunity for Senior Accounting Consultants to work both on-site and/or virtually to assist different clients with their accounting needs, all while being a full-time or part-time Insero employee. This position is client facing and requires interaction with all levels at our clients as well as internally within the firm.
* Current need would focus on small business related clients or non-profit / not for profit clients. Full-time or Part-time opportunities are available. Based on the clients that one would support, we have the flexibility for one to be able to some hours from home/remote and balance between our office and client offices.
Location: Rochester, NY office. *For most of our positions at Insero, one can work in the office every day or if you like, in a hybrid structure working up to 3 days from home.
* We relocated to a newly remodeled office located in the heart of downtown Rochester. There is easy access to great restaurants and events, and featured amenities such as collaboration spaces, game room and firm paid for underground parking in a secure garage.

Outsource Accounting Services:
Our Outsource Accounting Services Group has been around for over 25 years and is made up of dedicated personnel whose only assignments are supporting our client base. We are full time CPAs, CMAs, Accountants and Business Managers. We understand the issues that Controllers and CFOs face every day – and our technology, experience and flexibility add real value. Outsourcing for us is not something that fills our downtime; it is our focus all year long. Our services range from bookkeeping to budgeting and forecasting. Our Outsource Accounting Services Team ensures our clients have the information and advice they require to run their business.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, along with a minimum of four plus years accounting experience as a full charge bookkeeper or Accountant working in industry (service, manufacturing, distribution, property mgmt. is preferred). Supervisory skills and strong accounting system experience is a plus. Experience with QuickBooks is strongly preferred, Intacct experience is a plus. Strong communication, relationship building and consulting skills are necessary. The ideal candidate must be able to meet deadlines, be proactive and have solid multi-tasking skills. Possess strong analytical skills and have a solid business knowledge as it relates to operations and procedures. CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $68,000 - $77,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position such as eligibility to receive discretionary spot bonus incentives. This range is a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and/or education and geographic location. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the capabilities and experience of the candidate. Incentives, if any, depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and firm performance.
