Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) Description

We are seeking a talented and collaborative Senior Cloud Engineer (Azure) to join EPAM. In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the cloud infrastructure and driving innovation with cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage robust Azure cloud solutions
• Ensure the security and integrity of cloud applications and data
• Optimize cloud resources to enhance performance and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud technologies
• Monitor cloud environments to preemptively address potential issues
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code to build, change, and version cloud infrastructure safely and efficiently
• Experience with Docker for developing, shipping, and running applications inside software containers
• Skilled in programming with Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation scripts and tooling
• Expertise in Cloud Containerization/Orchestration Tools like Azure Kubernetes Service for managing containerized applications
• Proficient in English with strong communication skills, capable of conversing at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with Jenkins for automating the integration and delivery of software projects
• Knowledge of Oracle databases for designing, developing, and managing database solutions
• Familiarity with MySQL for database administration and optimization
