The Ohio Lottery Commission supports teleworking as a work model for employees. Telework can improve an employee’s work/life balance and increase employee productivity. This position is eligible for hybrid work pursuant to the Ohio Lottery Commission’s Teleworking Policy, which incorporates both telework and in-office work days. Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Specialist 2 position include but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for mobile device engineering and administration including profile/policy creation, maintenance, and general configuration.
  • Administers and supports Voice Communications Technologies including but not limited to CBTS VoIP, Teams Voice, and Cisco VoIP.
  • Administers and supports Call Center Technologies including but not limited to Call Manager, Auto-Attendant, and call queue.
  • Administers and supports Telephony Software including but not limited to MS Teams, Cisco Jabber, and Informacast.
  • Handles the administration and upgrades for IT-specific applications including but not limited to Service Now, InTune, and Workspace One.
  • Administers, configures, and supports Enterprise scale collaboration systems.
  • Supports data circuit management.
  • Supports Advanced Office 365 solutions.
  • Handles IT Service Desk contacts (phone calls, e-mails, walk-ups, etc.).
  • Responsible for the creation, analysis, resolution, and escalation (if necessary) of tickets received from customers.
  • Installs, maintains, configures, and upgrades hardware and software in workstations and network.
  • Diagnoses, analyzes, and resolves customer issues across multiple technology lines.
  • Deploys, supports, and maintains physical endpoints (e.g., PCs, mobile devices, printers, access points, VoIP phones, etc.).
  • Creates and maintains base Windows PC images.
  • Utilizes Active Directory for onboarding and offboarding of employees and endpoint devices.
  • Administers and operates PC configuration management and software/update deployment system.
  • Authors and maintains documentation on a variety of technical subjects (e.g., procedures, quick reference guides, job-aids, tracking spreadsheets, tickets, customer correspondence templates, etc.).
  • Coordinates with DAS/OIT specialists on a variety of enterprise solutions, technologies, systems, services, etc.
  • Performs infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure network connectivity to all agency endpoints.
  • Provides support for Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Performs other duties and works on special projects.

Qualifications

48 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.



  • Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems; 30 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

  • Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 24 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: installing, monitoring/maintaining, configuring, upgrading, &/or administering/operating multiple technology domains including 12 months work experience in the primary technology specified by the agency in the position description & job posting.

  • Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
